Biography

18 year old Chris Clark has raced motorcycles for more than two thirds of his life. The talented youngster from Fairfax, VA in the USA began in off-road competition before switching to tarmac when he was twelve.

Since then he has never looked back, amassing multiple race wins and titles at club and regional level, with success on a National scale too.

Joining the MotoAmerica paddock in 2021, Chris was an instant front runner taking several podiums in his maiden year in the Mini Cup series. He progressed to the MotoAmerica Junior Cup in 2022 racing into the top six almost immediately. He was also a race winner in the inaugural American Talent Cup and was invited to the prestigious Red Bull Rookies selection camp in Italy.

2023 saw the half American, half Taiwanese rider contesting the full MotoAmerica Junior Cup championship for the Karns Performance racing team aboard a Kawasaki. He also made history in 2023 by becoming the youngest American to qualify for and successfully race in two rounds of the FIM Supersport 300 World Championship.

He became the first American to contest the full WorldSSP300 series in 2024 for the Smrz Racing Team, racing to multiple top twenty finishes before injury cut short his season.

He remains with Smrz Racing in 2025 but switches to the ultra-competitive Yamaha R3 bLu cRU World Cup which will run alongside the prestigious FIM Superbike World Championship.

No stranger to racing in blue or with Yamaha machinery Chris was invited to take part as a wildcard entry in the Thai Yamaha R3 bLU cRU championship which was held at the Buriram Circuit in 2023. He won!
