Strong start to Chris’s Yamaha R3 BLU CRU World Cup campaign in Misano

Chris Clark has kickstarted his 2025 Yamaha R3 BLU CRU World Cup campaign in style at the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli.

The pre-season test day was preceded by a day of promotional activity, rider briefings and track walk before Chris took to the track earlier today.

Working closely with his Smrz Racing squad, Chris ticked all the boxes, easing his way into the test before signing off with some impressive times that understandably give both him and the team confidence ahead of the season opener at Portimão in Portugal in a fortnight.

Chris Clark:

“I am really happy with how the past two days have gone. The promotional day was a lot of fun and something I had never done before but it was great. Today we had five sessions. This morning was cold and all about easing in the engine and not making any mistakes. As the day warmed up, we were able to improve the lap time and were close to the top. I was able to stay calm and improve throughout the day which gives me confidence that I can do well and have a strong season. I enjoyed working with Troy, my new team mate and with the team. We did a lot of positive work, and I am excited for round one.”
