Chris focused on Spanish racing return after French round spill

Chris Clark’s French weekend was unfortunately over before it began following a Free Practice crash on Friday morning.

Chris was full of confidence upon arrival at the technical Magny-Cours circuit nears Nevers in France and optimistic of a good result but after only twelve minutes of the opening session of the event he crashed out, fracturing his wrist and suffering concussion which ruled him out of any further #FrenchWorldSBK competition.

He was taken to the local hospital for further checks where it was decided he would undergo surgery to his wrist.

With several weeks until MotorLand Aragon, the #27 is now fully focused on making a full recovery to enable as strong an end to the season as possible.

Chris Clark:

“I felt good going into the weekend and so for it to end so soon it very disappointing. I was feeling more confident than ever and had a much-improved mindset and had really upped my training. After the first two laps I was thinking how much I liked the track but then on lap three I crashed which ended my weekend. I am bummed but my focus now is on healing up and being back on track in Jerez for the final round of the season.”
